Dearest Clients and Friends
While we all continue to adjust to our new temporary normal, I wanted to touch base and alert you to our ongoing protections and some new adjustments.
Since opening in 2012, we have always utilized UV filtration in our HVAC systems to help combat airborne illnesses such as bordatella and canine influenza. These systems are now becoming cutting edge in the fight against COVID-19. In conjunction with this and our normal cleaning routines, we have increased use of our product that includes coronavirus protection.
Starting Monday, March 16, 2020, we will be adding complimentary curbside retrieval and delivery of your furbabies from your car. Staff has been outfitted with slipleads so your belongings can remain in your possession. Clients will be able to signal their desire for a pickup or dropoff by pulling up to the front door/gate. Should you go unnoticed, please call 914-406-0891 and staff will be alerted to come out.
If you wish to avail yourself of this service, you must have a valid credit card on file in the office even if you normally pay at pickup. Please bring your own pen to avoid contact completely although we will have pens available that will be sanitized between clients.
Those clients prefering to dropoff and pickup in the lobby will continue to have the option to do so, however, we will temporarily be asking you to take your leashes with you to avoid any cross contamination. Our staff will be ready and able to slip lead your pup in the lobby or behind the desk to move them into the dog gym(s).
As an added service during this very difficult time when folks are juggling kids home (distance learning or not) and a myriad of added stressors, we will reduce the cost of our pet taxis between the hours of 8am and 6pm to $15 each way (about 44 percent off). This is the minimum we can charge to cover staff costs and operate our corporate vehicles. While we obviously need to be able to pay our bills, we hope this can help those who are also taking financial losses during this difficult time.
If there is anything else you can think of that could help the situation, I’m all ears.
Stay well and safe all,
